Each 100k DRG quad covers an approximate area of 54 x 35 miles
Each 250k DRG quad covers an approximate area of 108 x 70 miles.
Digital Raster Graphic -- is a scanned (250 dpi) topographic map of a US Geological Survey (USGS) topographic map including all collar information. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth. The majority (over 95%) of DRGs with collars are in a UTM NAD 27 (Zone varies depending upon location), However there are a small amount in NAD 83.
Collarless DRGs have all non-map information removed and are projected into Latitude-Longitude. These maps may be mosaiced to create a seamless map covering much larger areas.

Collared and collarless image files are delivered in a GeoTIFF format, a TFW file is also included. File sizes are approximately five megabytes per quad (Zipped).
Seamless custom area DRGs also readily available in any standard projection.
Texture Maps are also available for an additional $5 per quad.

Note: Topographic Mapping in Alaska is at 1:63,360 scale with 1:25,000 scale where available.
