IntraSearch, Inc., is a full service mapping company, headquartered in Denver, Colorado. IntraSearch began in 1951 as a geological consulting company for oil, gas and mineral-related companies. The company broadened its scope to include a wide range of services for federal, county and municipal governments, as well as energy, engineering, telecommunications and utilities.
IntraSearch has an e-commerce division called MapMart. Launched in 1997, MapMart began as an internet-based geospatial data warehouse and has grown to offer an unrivaled variety of data and services. MapMart is partnered with over thirty of the top geospatial data creators to cover nearly all facets of geospatial data needs.
IntraSearch also has one-third ownership in IntraSpatial Softech located in Bangalore, India. This office is staffed with approximately 45 employees trained in mapping, programming and imagery services for IntraSearch. This relationship goes back to 1998 and was created as a means to increase production capacity while maintaining a lower cost. This group has the ability to quickly expand to 90 workstations and operate three shifts per day.
